VanGlorious is a passion not just a business. Amy has been a passionate camper van driver for over 20 years. And she has travelled all over the world, renting camper vans and heading out on the road. Amy is so enthusiastic about the camper van holiday that that was how she spent her honeymoon, in New Zealand, for a month. Good times. Mr Amy was in no doubt how he would be travelling from now on! No doubt whatsoever!

Family Business

When Amy’s little boys arrived, of course things changed. But the passion for the open road remained. So Amy rented different vehicles to scratch the itch of her wanderlust. Luxury VW Campervans like the VW Beach and the VW California Ocean were becoming the preferred hire.

Over the years Amy has hired many camper vans around the world. The vehicles have varied and so has the customer experience. However the fun factor has always been high whether she travelled solo, with friends or with her family. And lately even with her dog.

Starting Out

In 2019 Amy took the plunge. She bought a VW California Ocean and began VanGlorious. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength. What’s the secret? There is no secret, we also stick to our values of focusing on the customer first and always, being high quality in everything that we do, caring for the world we live in and having fun! It seems to work.

Growing Up

Campervan holidays are becoming ever more popular. People are looking for adventures with family and friends. Adventures that are luxurious and don’t cost the earth. Since its launch VanGlorious has helped hundreds of customers to have the road-trip of a lifetime. Customers from cyclists to deep-sea divers. From film makers to bird watchers. And in far-off destinations like the artic circle, the west coast of Ireland, Sicily and Croydon (don’t ask). Whatever your passion, we are passionate to encourage you follow to hit the open road and follow your dreams.

New Services

Amy is still passionately leading the VanGlorious team forward. We have expanded in 2023 to two new collection sites in Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire, as well as moving into our new luxury HQ. We are also offering a home and airport pick up and delivery service to make our customers experience even better.
